A wee bit about my blog...

Okay, so I'm giving this blog thing a try as part of a University assessment. For the moment I will just be focusing on one issue that I think is important in society but who knows what else this might lead to. I suppose we will just have to wait and see...

Anyway, back to my assessment. I am going to be starting this blog with a piece on feminism. I feel that, since the #MeToo campaign began, there has been a light shone on the subject of feminism in the world today. Not that it hasn't been noticed before, because that would be a blatant lie, but it seems that now, feminism is in the news constantly. And it's not just to do with sexual abuse. Think of the gender pay gap at the BBC as well. I want to have a look at the differences between a feminist and an 'extreme' or 'radical' feminist and where the line is drawn.

This is just a quick summary of what I'll be investigating, but hopefully some of you will find it interesting. Keep an eye out on my Twitter and Facebook for more on the subject and it won't be long until I have a full article on here too.
